My approach

From the concert hall
to your home.

Every piano has its own character. I approach each one with the same passion and attention to detail, always looking to bring out the very best in its sound

01 / Tuning

Finding your piano’s sound.

Regular tuning keeps your piano stable all year round and sounding at its best. How often it needs tuning depends on its environment and usage. I can advise on a tuning schedule that suits your instrument’s needs.

02 / Servicing & repairs

Feel and tone.

The piano is a friction-based, percussive instrument. Over time, the felts, hammers and other components naturally compress and wear out, changing the regulation and tone. Regular servicing, including regulation, voicing and any necessary repairs, keeps your piano playing and sounding at its best, maximising its full potential.

03 / Concerts & recordings

Ready for the performance.

I tune concert grands, smaller grands and uprights, preparing each piano for rehearsals, performances and recording sessions. A concert grand needs to be ready for everything an artist asks of it. I work closely with artists, orchestras and production teams to bring out the best in its sound and response.
